Parasite Mutant Demo Review: A Love Letter to Parasite Eve with Old-School Horror RPG Vibes
Parasite Mutant feels like a game made by people who remember when horror RPGs trusted players to be uncomfortable. Inspired by Parasite Eve, this demo blends old-school survival horror exploration with real-time RPG combat, an ATC-style gauge, and meaningful customization. With striking cell-shaded visuals, fixed-camera tension, and a few smart modern touches, it delivers nostalgia without feeling dated. It is not perfect, but it is confident, creepy, and memorable in a way too many modern RPGs are not. Here’s why this demo stuck with me long after I put the controller down.
